Jerry Daniels and Clay Munson, high school seniors in the well-to-do suburb of Forest City, are parked with their dates in the woods when they see a reddish-orange light and hear a deafening noise. While their girlfriends wait in the car, Jerry and Clay search the woods until they find the UFO, a large, saucer-shaped vehicle hovering in the area. When Gatlin and Fitz investigate, they encounter a high school principal who is afraid of bad publicity and a Police Lieutenant who wants the boys arrested. The Blue Book team also talks to Stu Hadley, a Forest City citizen who claims to have photographed a flying saucer while on a duck hunting trip.
